This Small Business Saturday, I want to say thank you so much for supporting House of Flint! Words cannot express how much every follow, purchase, review and comment means to me. Though I am lucky enough to now have a small team working with me, the majority of the time I'm working alone, and it is not always easy! So that is why having you and the the rest of the House of Flint community cheering me on means so much - it can make this journey feel far less lonely.

 

Thanks to your support, it has been a truly amazing year, and my team has been working so hard to fulfil your orders as quickly as possible. Right now we're using up end-of-roll fabrics from our studio, to ensure we continue to work in a way that aligns with our zero-waste ethos. Our end-of-roll sale normally happens in January, but I have something else planned for the new year (which is extra special!), so stay tuned.

 

This year has also marked a huge change for my little brand, as I started working with a small UK based manufacturer to create a ready-to-ship collection. It has been a big risk, as I know you love to choose your own design/fabric combos, but it is a step I felt I had to take to try and ease the amount of admin (and therefore pressure!) that relied on me when processing made-to-order garments, and still allow House of Flint to grow. And I am so incredibly happy and overwhelmed with the response to our first small drops! They have really allowed me to show you how adjustable the sizing can be, and seeing these beautiful dresses go out into world has been a dream come true.
