The Swing Low Dress is another bestseller that has returned with a lot of options for spring! With a bodice ending just below the bust leading to opulent gathers,The Swing Low is super comfortable, bloat-friendly, versatile and long-lasting, with - of course - pockets!
You can now choose from 3 sleeve styles (short, dilly [floaty gathers], or bell with an elasticated cuff), and why not make it even more versatile if you choose the reversible neckline (round neck one way, V the other - and you can wear either to the front!)

Opt for 'contrast lining' if you want an extra pop of colour underneath - when you opt for this we'll create a slightly longer sleeve that can be rolled to a cuff. You can also opt for a split fabric throughout the skirt. Add a note of the contrast fabric/s you would like at checkout.

Please note: if you select the polka stretch for this design, we will line the bodice and face the hem in a non-stretch fabric in order for the design to work, so it will not have stretch in these areas when worn
FIT CHECK
As this garment is a loose fit it is the bust measurement that determines what size you should select. Long body? Short body? You can easily size up or down in this styles to ensure the waist seam sits exactly right. The oversized fit means the general aesthetic will be much the same, so this seam placement is key!
Becky wears the XL with all 3 sleeve options, and Emma and I wear the small. Becky and I both measure one or 2 sizes bigger at the hip, but the voluminous skirt means there is plenty of room to size down and get the correct fit for your bust.

House of Flint sizing is fairly relaxed and even adjustable for some pieces, to ensure you can get just the fit you want. The measurements below are a guide for the body, please see the description tab for the garment measurements.

If you are in between sizes or have any specific requests don’t hesitate to get in touch. I am always happy to alter designs to create the best fit. Remember the garments are designed to be a little oversized so if you are in between sizes you can size up or down depending on whether you prefer a slim or loose fit.
All garments are made for an average height of roughly 5ft 6”. Length measurements are stipulated on each product page with an option to add or remove length but do let me know if you’d like a further adjustment.
In order to obtain your measurements please follow the guide below:
- Bust - Measure all the way around your bust at the fullest point in an everyday bra if you wear one.
- Waist - Measure all the way around the narrowest part of your waist, which normally falls around your belly button.
- Hips - Measure all the way around the widest part of your hips or top of thighs.

SHIPPING - Made-To-Order garments will be shipped in 3-5 weeks. Ready-To-Ship garments will be shipped in 3-4 days.
Unfortunately we have had to remove the EU and Northern Ireland as shipping options due to the new GPSR. We will keep looking into ways to change this and apologise for any inconvenience.
FABRIC CARE - Machine wash at 30, air dry (do not tumble dry), and iron on “cotton”. Some colours may fade slightly, so keep separate from other garments for first wash.
