The Doddle Dress was our bestseller over the summer, and is back, now available in a wide range of fabrics. This dress is easy to wear everyday, is bloat-friendly, comfortable, and you can opt for either a short or long sleeve.
"The Doddle is my new favourite dress... The design makes it beautifully light and airy but not too oversized... Oh, and there are generously sized pockets!!"
Opt for 'contrast lining' if you want an extra pop of colour underneath! Add a note of the contrast fabric you would like at checkout - when you opt for this we'll create a slightly longer sleeve that can be rolled to a cuff.

FIT CHECK
As this garment is a loose fit it is the bust measurement that determines what size you should select. Long body? Short body? You can easily size up or down in this styles to ensure the waist seam sits exactly right. The oversized fit means the general aesthetic will be much the same, so this seam placement is key!

Standard length is 32” from just below the bust.

House of Flint sizing is fairly relaxed and even adjustable for some pieces, to ensure you can get just the fit you want. The measurements below are a guide for the body, please see the description tab for the garment measurements.

- S - UK 10-12 - Bust: 36” - Waist: 28” - Hips: 38”

- XL - UK 20-22 - Bust: 50” - Waist: 42” - Hips: 53”

If you are in between sizes or have any specific requests don’t hesitate to get in touch. I am always happy to alter designs to create the best fit. Remember the garments are designed to be a little oversized so if you are in between sizes you can size up or down depending on whether you prefer a slim or loose fit.
All garments are made for an average height of roughly 5ft 6”. Length measurements are stipulated on each product page with an option to add or remove length but do let me know if you’d like a further adjustment.
In order to obtain your measurements please follow the guide below:
- Bust - Measure all the way around your bust at the fullest point in an everyday bra if you wear one.
- Waist - Measure all the way around the narrowest part of your waist, which normally falls around your belly button.
- Hips - Measure all the way around the widest part of your hips or top of thighs.
PAYMENTS - Pay in full or in instalments (shipping unaffected). Get in touch for a custom payment plan.
SHIPPING - Made-To-Order garments will be shipped in 3-5 weeks. Ready-To-Ship garments will be shipped in 3-4 days.
CHRISTMAS SHIPPING - Last orders for Made-To-Order are 30th November (UK only). Last orders for Ready-To-Ship are 1st December for international delivery, 19th December for UK delivery.
Unfortunately we have had to remove the EU and Northern Ireland as shipping options due to the new GPSR. We will keep looking into ways to change this and apologise for any inconvenience.
FABRIC CARE - Machine wash at 30, air dry (do not tumble dry), and iron on “cotton”. Some colours may fade slightly, so keep separate from other garments for first wash.
