Based on our bestselling Doddle Dress, The Doddle Top is the shorter version you've all been asking for! Available in a wide range of fabrics, and with more options to help you create the perfect everyday piece. This top is easy to wear, bloat-friendly, comfortable.
You can choose from 3 sleeve styles (short, long/straight, or bell with an elasticated cuff), and why not make it even more versatile and opt for 'contrast lining' for an extra pop of colour underneath - when you opt for this in conjunction with the short sleeve, we'll create a slightly longer sleeve that can be rolled to a contrast cuff.
Please note: if you select the polka stretch for this design, we will line the bodice and face the hem in a non-stretch fabric in order for the design to work, so it will not have stretch in these areas when worn
FIT CHECK
As this garment is a loose fit it is the bust measurement that determines what size you should select. Long body? Short body? You can easily size up or down in this styles to ensure the waist seam sits exactly right. The oversized fit means the general aesthetic will be much the same, so this seam placement is key!
Becky wears the XL, which is the correct fit for her bust, but there is still plenty of room at the hip where she actually measures a 3XL.

Standard length is 10” from just below the bust, but you can add or remove 2" - or even add a note for a custom length at checkout!

House of Flint sizing is fairly relaxed and even adjustable for some pieces, to ensure you can get just the fit you want. The measurements below are a guide for the body, please see the description tab for the garment measurements.

If you are in between sizes or have any specific requests don’t hesitate to get in touch. I am always happy to alter designs to create the best fit. Remember the garments are designed to be a little oversized so if you are in between sizes you can size up or down depending on whether you prefer a slim or loose fit.
All garments are made for an average height of roughly 5ft 6”. Length measurements are stipulated on each product page with an option to add or remove length but do let me know if you’d like a further adjustment.
In order to obtain your measurements please follow the guide below:
- Bust - Measure all the way around your bust at the fullest point in an everyday bra if you wear one.
- Waist - Measure all the way around the narrowest part of your waist, which normally falls around your belly button.
- Hips - Measure all the way around the widest part of your hips or top of thighs.

SHIPPING - Made-To-Order garments will be shipped in 3-5 weeks. Ready-To-Ship garments will be shipped in 3-4 days.
Unfortunately we have had to remove the EU and Northern Ireland as shipping options due to the new GPSR. We will keep looking into ways to change this and apologise for any inconvenience.
FABRIC CARE - Machine wash at 30, air dry (do not tumble dry), and iron on “cotton”. Some colours may fade slightly, so keep separate from other garments for first wash.
