The Doddle Dress was our bestseller last year, which comes as no surprise - it's easy to wear, bloat-friendly, and super comfortable. It has a dropped armhole for comfort and a loose fit throughout the body, plus deep pockets!
This limited edition Doddle comes in a vibrant orange (an update on our sell-out Aperol linen last year!), and is made in a beautiful linen/viscose blend (55% linen, 45% viscose), making it breathable, light and comfortable to wear all day long. Perfect for sipping Aperol in the sun... or at least dreaming of it through the inevitable rain??

PLEASE NOTE: every dress is cut and hemmed to the long length ( 35" from just under the bust - as seen on the models). If you require a shorter cut, please make a note at checkout of the length you require.
FIT CHECK
As this garment is a loose fit it is the bust measurement that determines what size you should select. Long body? Short body? You can easily size up or down in this styles to ensure the waist seam sits exactly right. The oversized fit means the general aesthetic will be much the same, so this seam placement is key!
I wear the S and I am 5ft 3; Becky wears the XL and is 5ft 7.

Length for all sizes has been cut and hemmed to 35” from the lower waist seam.

- L - Bust: 51”- Shoulder to Waist: 15"

- 3XL - Bust: 64”- Shoulder to Waist: 20.25"
- 4XL - Bust: 68”- Shoulder to Waist: 21.5"
- 5XL - Bust: 75.5”- Shoulder to Waist: 23"
House of Flint sizing is fairly relaxed and even adjustable for some pieces, to ensure you can get just the fit you want. The measurements below are a guide for the body, please see the description tab for the garment measurements.
- XS - UK 6-8 - Bust: 34.5” - Waist: 26.5” - Hips: 36”
- S - UK 10-12 - Bust: 36” - Waist: 28” - Hips: 38”
- M - UK 12-14 - Bust: 40” - Waist: 32” - Hips: 42”
- L - UK 16-18 - Bust: 44” - Waist: 36.5” - Hips: 47”
- XL - UK 20-22 - Bust: 50” - Waist: 42” - Hips: 53”

If you are in between sizes or have any specific requests don’t hesitate to get in touch. Remember the garments are designed to be a little oversized so if you are in between sizes you can size up or down depending on whether you prefer a slim or loose fit.
All garments are made for an average height of roughly 5ft 6”. Length measurements are stipulated on each product page with an option to add or remove length but do let me know if you’d like a further adjustment.
In order to obtain your measurements please follow the guide below:
- Bust - Measure all the way around your bust at the fullest point in an everyday bra if you wear one.
- Waist - Measure all the way around the narrowest part of your waist, which normally falls around your belly button.
- Hips - Measure all the way around the widest part of your hips or top of thighs.
PAYMENTS - Pay in full or in instalments (shipping unaffected). Get in touch for a custom payment plan.
SHIPPING - Ready-To-Ship garments will be shipped in 2-5 working days. Check the product page for shipping times on pre-order items.
For US customers, the 10% tariffs are included in the product price, so there will be no hidden fees on delivery!
Unfortunately we had to remove the EU and Northern Ireland as shipping options due to the new GPSR, but this will be back up and running very soon! If you want to order in the meantime, just use our address (in the footer) and we will pause shipment until shipping is sorted.
RETURNS - I am happy to offer a refund or exchange on any item that is unsuitable, as long as the garment is returned within 14 days of the original dispatch date; with the original tags and packaging; unworn and unwashed. This applies to pre-orders as well.
FABRIC CARE - Machine wash at 30, air dry (do not tumble dry), and iron on “cotton”. Some colours may fade slightly, so keep separate from other garments for first wash.

The cut of this dress is absolutely perfect. I don’t think I’ve ever had a dress with such a flattering and comfortable shape! The fabric is beautifully soft and light and I just feel good wearing it.
Such a gorgeous dress, I really love it. I am 5”10 and was so happy to be able to get this extended as I had missed the presale. It looks great with the bit added at the bottom, and so lovely to be able to have something full length for once! Jessica was so helpful and understanding. I love the playful mix of fabrics and the asymmetrical bodice lengths. A beautifully made piece and the linen feels really sturdy.
Love it so comfy, can be casual or dressed up so very versatile. Just makes me feel good x
What can I say but you've done it again. Beautiful fabrics paired together in my favourite dress design. Beautifully made too and so comfortable to wear.
