Ready to party? Or, you know, chill on the sofa with a glass of bubbly... either way this dress has got you covered! Made with a deadstock jacquard paired with black linen...
The Loop Dress is our Swing Low Dress with a difference… the bodice is split in two! This creates the visual of a strapless dress layered up - with none of the hassle. Tiny loops sit at the waist where long ties are threaded through to cinch the waist at the sides - so you can wear two ways depending on your mood! The bodice leads to opulent gathers that hang from the waist to create a full skirt with a LOT of swing! A dropped armhole and longer straight sleeve that can be rolled to a cuff means this one is super comfy, and it has roomy side pockets too.
PLEASE NOTE: every dress has been cut and hemmed to an extra long length (as seen on the models). If you require a shorter cut, please make a note at checkout of the length you require. You can see me in a mini length in some shots - just add a note of your length and we can cut to this too!
FIT CHECK
As this garment is a naturally oversized fit, you should pay most attention to the shoulder to waist measurement (which refers to the length of the bodice), as this will determine the correct aesthetic you desire. Refer to our size guide tab for a rough size, but note that the garment itself will drape to fit so you can size up or down. For example, if you are tall or have a larger bust you could easily size up to ensure the waist sits lower on your body, and vice versa.
I wear the S in the standard length (extra long compared to our made-to-order styles) and custom mini - I am 5ft 3" and measure S at the bust and M at waist/hip. Becky wears the XL in the standard length - she is 5ft 7" and measures XL at the bust, 2XL at the waist and 3XL at the hip, and also the 2XL (you can see her in this size worn loose - other than the bodice length the fit looks much the same!). Mum wears the M, which is her standard size, and is 5ft 6" - she wears it tied more loosely at the sides for a more relaxed look.

Length for all sizes has been cut and hemmed to 35” from the waist seam.

- XL - Bust: 56" - Shoulder to waist: 16.5" - Bicep: 19"
- 2XL - Bust: 60" - Shoulder to waist: 18" - Bicep: 21"
- 3XL - Bust: 64" - Shoulder to waist: 19.5" - Bicep: 23"
- 4XL - Bust: 68" - Shoulder to waist: 21" - Bicep: 25"
- 5XL - Bust: 75.5" - Shoulder to waist: 22.5" - Bicep: 27"
House of Flint sizing is fairly relaxed and even adjustable for some pieces, to ensure you can get just the fit you want. The measurements below are a guide for the body, please see the description tab for the garment measurements.

If you are in between sizes or have any specific requests don’t hesitate to get in touch. I am always happy to alter designs to create the best fit. Remember the garments are designed to be a little oversized so if you are in between sizes you can size up or down depending on whether you prefer a slim or loose fit.
All garments are made for an average height of roughly 5ft 6”. Length measurements are stipulated on each product page with an option to add or remove length but do let me know if you’d like a further adjustment.
In order to obtain your measurements please follow the guide below:
- Bust - Measure all the way around your bust at the fullest point in an everyday bra if you wear one.
- Waist - Measure all the way around the narrowest part of your waist, which normally falls around your belly button.
- Hips - Measure all the way around the widest part of your hips or top of thighs.

SHIPPING - Made-To-Order garments will be shipped in 3-5 weeks. Ready-To-Ship garments will be shipped in 3-4 days.
CHRISTMAS SHIPPING - Last orders for Made-To-Order are 30th November (UK only). Last orders for Ready-To-Ship are 1st December for international delivery, 19th December for UK delivery.
Unfortunately we have had to remove the EU and Northern Ireland as shipping options due to the new GPSR. We will keep looking into ways to change this and apologise for any inconvenience.
FABRIC CARE - Machine wash at 30, air dry (do not tumble dry), and iron on “cotton”. Some colours may fade slightly, so keep separate from other garments for first wash.
