The Vest joins our spring collection as the perfect piece to inject another colour or pattern into your outfit! I find myself wearing my favourite dresses on rotation, and craved a way to change the outfit up, without piling on too many layers!
With the round neck of your favourite Doddle and Swing styles, and a boxy fit at the shoulder and bodice, this is a wardrobe staple that will see you through every season.
Why not make it reversible with a contrast lining? Add a note at checkout if you have a preference, otherwise we will surprise you!
FIT CHECK
Cut to a standard crop but please do provide a custom measurement (shoulder to hem) if you’d like it longer. It has been designed to finish at the waist, which is a few inches below where our Doddle and Swing Dress bodices end.
GARMENT MEASUREMENTS
It is the bust that dictates the size here (and it is cut to the same width as our Boater's Tee), with an oversized fit in mind. Standard length is subject to size and you can also opt to add or remove 2”.

- S - Bust: 48” - Shoulder to Hem: 16.75”
- M - Bust: 50” - Shoulder to Hem: 17.25”
- L - Bust: 53” - Shoulder to Hem: 17.75”
- XL - Bust: 58” - Shoulder to Hem: 18.75”
- 2XL - Bust: 62” - Shoulder to Hem: 19.5”
- 3XL - Bust: 66” - Shoulder to Hem: 19.75”
- 4XL - Bust: 70” - Shoulder to Hem: 20.75”
- 5XL - Bust: 77.5” - Shoulder to Hem: 22”
House of Flint sizing is fairly relaxed and even adjustable for some pieces, to ensure you can get just the fit you want. The measurements below are a guide for the body, please see the description tab for the garment measurements.

If you are in between sizes or have any specific requests don’t hesitate to get in touch. I am always happy to alter designs to create the best fit. Remember the garments are designed to be a little oversized so if you are in between sizes you can size up or down depending on whether you prefer a slim or loose fit.
All garments are made for an average height of roughly 5ft 6”. Length measurements are stipulated on each product page with an option to add or remove length but do let me know if you’d like a further adjustment.
In order to obtain your measurements please follow the guide below:
- Bust - Measure all the way around your bust at the fullest point in an everyday bra if you wear one.
- Waist - Measure all the way around the narrowest part of your waist, which normally falls around your belly button.
- Hips - Measure all the way around the widest part of your hips or top of thighs.
PAYMENTS - Pay in full or in instalments (shipping unaffected). Get in touch for a custom payment plan.
SHIPPING - Made-To-Order garments will be shipped in 3-5 weeks. Ready-To-Ship garments will be shipped in 3-4 days.
Unfortunately we have had to remove the EU and Northern Ireland as shipping options due to the new GPSR. We will keep looking into ways to change this and apologise for any inconvenience.
FABRIC CARE - Machine wash at 30, air dry (do not tumble dry), and iron on “cotton”. Some colours may fade slightly, so keep separate from other garments for first wash.
