We’ve brought back yet another of your favourites with these trousers! We discontinued last year to adjust based on your lovely feedback (which I ALWAYS welcome). So many of you loved the fit and fastening, but found that when the wrap was untied (i.e. to nip to the loo), they were so loose they'd fall straight to the floor (not ideal in a public bathroom 😬). We also dipped the back of the waist in this earlier iteration in order for the ties to cross over the waistband, and this was found to sit a little low on some.
SO WE FIXED THESE ISSUES.
Yup, the long tie now slots through an opening at the side (so no need for the dipped back which we have raised), and is held in place by belt loops til it reaches the d-ring the other side. This means you can loosen as much as you need to take them off, and they won't simply drop to the floor! Hurrah!
I have also adjusted the cut on the leg to be a little roomier at the calf, which I think really suits a slightly cropped length. The standard length is now a little shorter to accommodate this, and both models wear the short version, which is another 2” shorter. You can request any length however.
The wrap fastening you love remains, which means there’s no worry about broken zips or lost buttons either - just wrap to fit your current size/shape. With this update we removed the front pleats for a flat finish, but by popular demand, we have made the pleated version an option again too!
FIT CHECK
The waist can be adjusted in either direction by a few inches. The version without pleats is a little more fitted at the hip than the pleated version, so feel free to opt for a custom size if your measurements do not match up to a standard size.
GARMENT MEASUREMENTS
Standard length measures 27.75 inches at the inside leg and you can select Short or Long to remove or add 2 inches. Feel free to add a custom length as checkout if you would like a longer cuff to roll - we are happy to add the contrast cuff here too if you wish!

House of Flint sizing is fairly relaxed and even adjustable for some pieces, to ensure you can get just the fit you want. The measurements below are a guide for the body, please see the description tab for the garment measurements.

If you are in between sizes or have any specific requests don’t hesitate to get in touch. I am always happy to alter designs to create the best fit. Remember the garments are designed to be a little oversized so if you are in between sizes you can size up or down depending on whether you prefer a slim or loose fit.
All garments are made for an average height of roughly 5ft 6”. Length measurements are stipulated on each product page with an option to add or remove length but do let me know if you’d like a further adjustment.
In order to obtain your measurements please follow the guide below:
- Bust - Measure all the way around your bust at the fullest point in an everyday bra if you wear one.
- Waist - Measure all the way around the narrowest part of your waist, which normally falls around your belly button.
- Hips - Measure all the way around the widest part of your hips or top of thighs.

SHIPPING - Made-To-Order garments will be shipped in 3-5 weeks. Ready-To-Ship garments will be shipped in 3-4 days.
Unfortunately we have had to remove the EU and Northern Ireland as shipping options due to the new GPSR. We will keep looking into ways to change this and apologise for any inconvenience.
FABRIC CARE - Machine wash at 30, air dry (do not tumble dry), and iron on “cotton”. Some colours may fade slightly, so keep separate from other garments for first wash.
