My mums favourite dress (she has 3 or 4 at this point!) is back for a limited time only!
This unique and versatile design has a faux wrap at the front, with strategically placed pleats to drape across the body perfectly. It is nipped in with a tie hidden beneath the wrap - a true feat of engineering!
With two deep pockets (because EVERYTHING should have pockets) and an adjustable tie at the waist, this dress hits all the buttons for great fit and function. The extra width nipped in with this waist tie ensures it will fit your shape through all stages of life, including pregnancy.
FIT CHECK
With a faux wrap at the front, shape is created with pleats on this area. The tie slips beneath though a hidden hole (only through the top layer) to wrap around the back without catching the wrap!
This dress is tied at the waist to gather the excess fabric so it will fit perfectly to your waist every time, even if your body fluctuates in size.
In the main group image models all wear the standard length in ginger linen and the sizing is as follows l-r: Sarah: XS, Julie: M, Jodie: 3XL body 4XL skirt, Becky: XL, Emma: S, Debs: XS, Anya: XL.
GARMENT MEASUREMENTS
Standard length measures roughly 30 inches from the waist but is a tapered hem so it is slightly shorter at the front and longer at the back. You can select Long or Short to add or take away 2 inches from the length.

House of Flint sizing is fairly relaxed and even adjustable for some pieces, to ensure you can get just the fit you want. The measurements below are a guide for the body, please see the description tab for the garment measurements.

If you are in between sizes or have any specific requests don’t hesitate to get in touch. I am always happy to alter designs to create the best fit. Remember the garments are designed to be a little oversized so if you are in between sizes you can size up or down depending on whether you prefer a slim or loose fit.
All garments are made for an average height of roughly 5ft 6”. Length measurements are stipulated on each product page with an option to add or remove length but do let me know if you’d like a further adjustment.
In order to obtain your measurements please follow the guide below:
- Bust - Measure all the way around your bust at the fullest point in an everyday bra if you wear one.
- Waist - Measure all the way around the narrowest part of your waist, which normally falls around your belly button.
- Hips - Measure all the way around the widest part of your hips or top of thighs.

SHIPPING - Made-To-Order garments will be shipped in 3-5 weeks. Ready-To-Ship garments will be shipped in 3-4 days.
Unfortunately we have had to remove the EU and Northern Ireland as shipping options due to the new GPSR. We will keep looking into ways to change this and apologise for any inconvenience.
FABRIC CARE - Machine wash at 30, air dry (do not tumble dry), and iron on “cotton”. Some colours may fade slightly, so keep separate from other garments for first wash.
